A. ENTITY DESCRIPTION

Mecanizados Vitoria S.A. is an aeronautical tooling design and manufacturing company founded in 2006 in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The extensive experience and great knowledge of the sector allows the company to consolidate as one of the market leaders in the manufacture of tooling in the demanding automotive and aeronautical sector. For this purpose, the company has a highly qualified and experienced engineering team in order to offer the customer technical services of CAD design engineering and CAM programming (CNC: 3 and 5 axes), solving any technical need required by the customer, and acting in parallel to support
production, offering a service guaranteed by the ISO 9001 standard.
 

B. ROLE IN THE HERFUSE PROJECT

Mecanizados Vitoria’s main task in this project is to design and manufacture the necessary tools to produce some of the primary parts of the structure UPPER SHELL using thermoforming molds. The welding process of these parts will need tooling that MVI is also going to manufacture. All of this is included in WP8.
